I feel back to normal after training for months to put on some muscle to compete in Ms. Bikini Universe. I’ve hardly lifted weights in two weeks since the competition and I feel like all my muscles are already gone! It just goes to show how difficult it is for a woman to keep muscles if we aren’t diligently working on them all the time. I always tell this to women who are afraid of bulking up from lifting weights. Trust me, it’s not going to happen unless you are seriously dedicated to it!
I’m passionate about what I do because I get to help others end the cycle of dieting and set themselves free like I did. I’ve been there, bouncing from diet to diet, disappointed, moody, hungry, undernourished and self-loathing. The scale would go up as soon as I finished another juice cleanse or crash diet.
