Hi Friends. After battling my own diet issues, and now helping others with weight loss and nutrition journeys I have learned despite our differences, we are all the same. I have seen and heard countless people who say they cannot shake those extra pounds no matter what they do. In rare cases there really is a medical issue or hormonal imbalance that needs to be addressed but more often they fit into one or more of these categories below.
I’m passionate about what I do because I get to help others end the cycle of dieting and set themselves free like I did. I’ve been there, bouncing from diet to diet, disappointed, moody, hungry, undernourished and self-loathing. The scale would go up as soon as I finished another juice cleanse or crash diet. Then the cycle would begin again. I lost touch with my body and my nutritional needs. I forgot how to eat to live and not live to eat. I thought I had a choice of either being healthy or thin.
Everything changed when I found nutritional cleansing. It started with my energy levels, then my mood and finally with my physical body shape. I found a way to rebalance my body and bring it back to the state it is meant to be in- feeling alive and vibrant and operating at full capacity. It changed my life and I haven’t dieted since. I have a lean healthy body and lots of energy. I feel full and nourished now and no longer crave nutritionally deficient food. My moods are good and I have built lean muscle in places I never dreamed I could. Buying clothes is fun. I love how I look and feel and it took me many years to be able to say that.

I have to admit, I am not actually the greatest cook. Living for ten years in New York city as a single person did not help in that department, but I am really working to get better and cook for my family as much as possible these days. I am lucky Alex is an excellent cook and inspires me every day. This dish has been my go to for years. I used to make very large batches and freeze the quinoa portion and add it to fresh greens for weeks. I have prettied it up with extra berries to take to parties, and I have toted it around in tupperware for a lunch on the plane. It is the best, and I have never gotten tired of it.
